Verifone After-skipre-Christmas party (pikkujoulut)
Verifone's own office staff were in for a fun surprise when they arrived at their office for the evening. During the day, while they were out, the office had been transformed into an AFTER SKI party venue. Where there had been a desk, there was now a bar. Where the meeting room had been, there was now a party lounge. The office lights had become festive mood lighting, and so on.

Svenska Bildningsförbundet r.f. Live-streamed virtual cruise
When a traditional cruise could not go ahead, AVU Events and the association got creative. The result was a virtual cruise, live-streamed to an audience of thousands, who got to experience all the charms of a real cruise. The virtual cruise was planned down to the last detail. Footage filmed on board the ships in advance was combined with live performances, creating the feeling of really being on board. Led by cruise host Christoffer Strandberg, the cruise guests partied together in the chat, with an entertaining quiz among other things.

Svenska lantbruksproducenternas centralförbund SLC r.f. 75th anniversary broadcast as a hybrid event
AVU Events, which specialises in anniversary celebrations, delivered the 75th anniversary year of the Swedish-speaking agricultural and forestry producers' union (SLC r.f.), which culminated in a spectacular anniversary broadcast. In addition to the streaming technology, the event was equipped with in-room sound supporting the hybrid format, as well as video and lighting technology. AVU Events succeeded excellently in catering for both the audience at home and the audience in the studio. In this production, too, careful pre-production, such as planning, filming and editing the video inserts, proved key to success.

Svenska folkpartiet SFP r.p.
The party conference is SFP's biggest event, and AVU Events has delivered it more than 10 times, each year in a different town, from Hanko to Kokkola and from Turku to Porvoo. Made up of a two-day meeting and a more entertainment-focused evening gala, the party conference is technically demanding. As well as producing the whole programme to a high standard for the audience on site, AVU Events broadcasts it live in two languages with simultaneous interpretation. The meeting's closed ballot has also been run electronically, smoothly and reliably, giving remote participants equal standing.

Drumsö sällskapet r.f. Public event at Kasinonranta beach, Lauttasaari
Every August, the people of Lauttasaari celebrate by gathering at Kasinonranta beach. AVU Events was responsible for the technical production of the event, including the stage, sound and lighting, as well as the programme on the main stage. In summer 2022, the performers included the Hanna Pakarinen & Ako Kiiski orchestra, the children's favourite band Mimmit and the saxophonist duo Antti Hynninen & Dj Slow. The event was hosted by professional presenters Robert Ingman & Taru Valkeapää.

At our four-day event, every single guest was thoughtfully looked after. No guest was left on the sidelines. Thanks to careful planning, every guest felt they were an important part of the programme.
Despite our high expectations, Robert, in his role as producer, impressed us with his professional approach, both in the content of the event and in the way it was delivered. The event truly reflected who we are, and we achieved the goals we set.
Jaakko Hirvola
Our annual party conference has developed enormously under Robert's production. It used to be a homespun affair. Today it is run professionally, with attention to even the smallest details. Organising it has become easier for us too: it is enough to be in touch with one person, and you can trust that things will be taken care of.
The end result is always excellent, whichever city our event is in.
Maria Grundström Head of Organisation, SFP

Suomen laatupalkinto, the Finnish Quality Award presented at the Quality Award Gala, is a well-known and respected national recognition of excellence that supports building a strong brand. It has therefore been especially important that the gala itself is delivered professionally in every respect.
We feel that Robert shares these values with us. Working with him has always gone wonderfully, and we are very pleased with the quality of the work.

Why AVU Events?
AVU is Finnish and means "benefit" or "asset", words that describe our business idea. You get personal, genuinely caring service, with no fear of unexpected invoices.
We are motivated by fulfilling our clients' wishes with top marks, which is also reflected in our clients' wish to keep working with us year after year.
AVU Events produces events according to the client's needs, which means we offer services only if they genuinely add value to the event. We do not suggest ideas just to find a use for things we have bought before. To guarantee the best prices, we put service providers out to tender on our clients' behalf.
Get in touch in good time and you can avoid costs at the venue selection stage!
